We are excited to announce that we have three current grant opportunities for ANZSRS members.

Jeff Pretto Research Grant
The ANZSRS Jeff Pretto Memorial Research Grant is offered to encourage and support research in clinical and/or laboratory-based respiratory science by Society members.

Application closing date is 5:00pm AUS EST Friday 15-Nov-2024. Applications are assessed by a review panel appointed by the SCC.

ASM Travel Grants 

The ANZSRS Board extends an invitation to all members of the Society considering attending the TSANZSRS ASM 2025 Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM) in Adelaide. This is an excellent opportunity to participate in the educational highlight of the ANZSRS year, reconnect with colleagues, network with new ones and discover the latest equipment innovations. So, we are excited to offer ASM Grants to help support your participation.

The guideline and application form can be found in the Members section of the ANZSRS Website (see instructions below). We strongly encourage all eligible members to apply. While preference will be given to presenting, junior, and members holding official roles within ANZSRS, the Board looks forward to assessing all applications.

Take advantage of this great opportunity! Submit your application for an ASM grant by Friday, 22 November 2024.

Advanced Education Grant   

Applications are now open for the next round of the ANZSRS Advanced Education Grant. This is a fantastic opportunity to further your expertise as a Respiratory Scientist, with financial support of up to the value of $3000. Applications to attend virtual courses or workshops are encouraged. Details of courses attendee by previous awardees can be found here.

The closing date is 5pm AEST Friday 25th October 2024.

Apply online through the ANZSRS website member portal using the following instructions: 

• Log-on to the ANZSRS website using your email and password
• Log-on to the “Member Portal” by navigating to Member Content and then selecting “Member Portal”
• Go to “Courses and Events”
• Click “More Info and Register” for the grant you want to apply for. This will send you an automated email which means that you may complete the registration, access all related documents and upload the application form at any time
• Go to “My Activities” where you can download the guidelines and application form
• Upload completed application form and any supporting documentation
• Click “submit”!
