We are excited to announce that applications are now open for the Dr Maureen Swanney Travel Award, thanks to the generous sponsorship of MGC Diagnostics.

This award was established by the ANZSRS and MGC Diagnostics Inc in acknowledgement of Maureen’s outstanding contributions.

Rather than to present scientific work, this Award is offered to encourage and support scientific collaboration of clinical respiratory scientists by supporting attendance at a relevant international meeting. Set to a total of AUD $2,500, it can be used to help cover the cost of registration, travel and accommodation.

Completed and signed copies of the application and all documentation must be uploaded through the ANZSRS website portal.

Application closing date is 5:00pm AEST on the 14th February 2025.

Apply online through the ANZSRS website member portal using the following instructions: 

• Log-on to the ANZSRS website using your email and password
• Log-on to the “Member Portal” by navigating to Member Content and then selecting “Member Portal”
• Go to “Courses and Events”
• Click “More Info and Register” for the grant you want to apply for. This will send you an automated email which means that you may complete the registration, access all related documents and upload the application form at any time
• Go to “My Activities” where you can download the guidelines and application form
• Upload completed application form and any supporting documentation
• Click “submit”!
