About the role An exciting opportunity for an experienced Respiratory Scientist to join the Eastern Health Respiratory Laboratory Service as a Grade 3 Respiratory Scientist/Deputy Head of Respiratory Laboratory Services. The position has a combination of clinical and managerial responsibilities and requires demonstrated expertise in the area of Respiratory testing, Cardiopulmonary exercise testing, Oxygen therapy, Quality Assurance and Management duties. This position will be required to work in Respiratory Laboratories across all sites at Eastern Health.
About you To be successful in this role you will possess: · Bachelor of Applied Science or equivalent · Certified Respiratory Function Scientist (CRFS, ANZSRS) · A minimum of eight years’ experience in the field of respiratory science · Knowledge of Cardio-pulmonary exercise tests · Understanding of Quality Control, Quality Assurance and their management and application · Experience in overseeing training and education programs for scientific staff inclusive of ANZSRS competency assessments.
