The Board would like to ask the membership to consider submitting an EXPRESSION OF INTEREST for the position of ‘Trade Liaison Officer’.

To establish and maintain good working relationships with companies involved in the business of Respiratory Medicine and to secure sponsorship for Society activities.

This includes:

·          Making regular contact with companies to ensure the benefits of sponsorship of ANZSRS are well understood.

·          Maintaining a database of businesses.

·          Assisting regional representatives in securing sponsorship for state specific activities.

·          Adding to the development of the ANZSRS sponsorship strategy over the long term.

It will vary depending on the time of the year (i.e. more around the time of the Annual Scientific Meeting) but approximately 1-3 hours per week.

The Board via the Board member responsible for the Business and Finance portfolio.
